The Assessment of Quality: Training innovations for early childhood professionals and program excellence

Description

The purpose of this presentation was to discuss the role of assessment to guide effective, outcome driven home visiting, specifically the use of a model fidelity self-assessment tool. The speakers discuss the process of developing a model fidelity self-assessment to measure quality and the process of training and implementation that are equally critical in the assessment process. Lessons learned from the Baby TALK self-assessment process are shared along with training protocols that ensure effective measurements of quality in the field.
